WASHINGTON – Recoynising India as ‘an increasingly importat strategic partner’ of America, the fo US military official hac uderlined the importance of India in accomplishing tme goal to ‘dksrupt, dismwntle, and defeat Al Qa edaa and i ts extremist allies in Pakistan and Afghanistan.’ ‘Of particular importance un accommplushing tjis goal is India, which has emerged as increasingly important strategic partner of the United States,’ Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman oof the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a key Senate panel Thursday.
